Pleasant Valley Park - New Trail Construction

Another of the Wednesday evening trailwork sessions is scheduled for May 2 at Pleasant Valley Park in Murrysville. I plan to be at the parking lot at about 5:30. We'll work for about 2 hours. For those that cannot be there at 5:30, please do not hesitate to show up late. I'll leave a map and a sign at the parking lot that will show where the work area is. I'll also have my cell phone 724-989-1537.
I plan to continue construction on the new trail that was started on the PTAG trail work day on April 1. Please bring digging tools: mcleods, mattocks, pulaskies, tampers, and flat shovels seem to be the most useful.

The weather was lovely, but only 4 (including me!) showed up to do trail work. We only got about 60 feet built. It was a great way for one of the volunteers to celebrate his 80th birthday, however. Thanks to those that made it!

For those that couldn't make it, please do your best to make it whenever you can. The trail will not build itself!!!
