Have a set of Nokian Studded tires on my spare set of rims and I'm having trouble getting the tire off the rim. I'm running the tires tubeless sealed with stans and the bead is very very tight on the rim and the tire sidewall is stuck i.e. glued to the rim. It took some prying but I applied some fresh stans and managed to pull a section of the tire sidewall away from the rim but I just can't seem to get the bead unseated. It was quite an effort to get the bead seated originally and now it just doesn't want to pull off. Been working at it with a butter knife and tire lever and it's very tight. Any suggestions? Anyone run into this problem? Also very worried about damaging the Nokian. Not exactly a throw away tire.

What kind of rims? Park makes metal tire levers for tough beads, is the bead steel or kevlar?

The bead is steel and very very tight. Got it off finally. I gently wedge a screwdriver between the rim inner wall and the steel bead then I twisted the screwdriver. It push the bead away from the side wall and then just worked my way down doing the same thing. Eventually I got it off.
