Where to take a new rider

My little brother is coming into town next week and wants to do some riding. I have only lived here 6 months and haven't done any riding since I'm healing from a shoulder injury. Where is a good place to take a newish rider for a ride anywhere in the area, geography not being an issue?? Am I asking for trouble taking him onto a trail I don't know myself??

If you go to the trails around the North Park swimming pool you should be fine. Stay up top and everything is wide and easy. Drop down and you will find some nice single track. Check out the Allegheny county parks page for a blazed trail map. The trails in North Park are very well marked (it would be hard to get lost if you have the map).
