Oh man that sucks! I work in the city, park on the street. I try to remember to take my bike out of the car after rides, but sometimes I forget and then see it when I park for the day. Mental note, always take the bike into the building if I forget.

Yeah for sure! I work on the north side and I always leave my bike in my van during work hours. This could so easily have been me. The sad part is the guy made off with a $$$$ bike and will probably sell it for $100 and a crack rock not knowing what he actually had. We figured out that this bike constitutes grand theft auto so keep an eye on craigs list and the streets, its a unique build so it will be easy to spot with those orange hubs.

I keep my bike inside my vehicle and use a bike cable and lock it to the cargo tie downs. Not bullet proof but helps deter loosing my bike in a smash and grab. Anyone know what street in Shadyside? Day light? Night?

Instead of looking for fast rolling tires, you should try some fast pedaling legs. -DP
